Security at Rapid Route

Protecting your data is fundamental to everything we do. Here is how we keep your information safe.

Encryption

All data in transit is protected with TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. API keys and credentials are stored using industry-standard hashing algorithms.

Authentication

We use JWT-based authentication with httpOnly secure cookies. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is available for all accounts. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt at a cost factor of 12.

Infrastructure

Our platform runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Canadian data centres (ca-central-1). We use ECS Fargate for isolated container workloads with automatic scaling and redundancy.

Compliance

We are compliant with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We conduct regular security reviews and maintain detailed audit logs retained for 7 years.

Data Handling

Personal data is collected only as needed to provide our services. Access is controlled through role-based permissions. Database backups are encrypted and stored securely.
